To enjoy all 3 wonderful applications of Celcom's GPRS, your phone must be configured to all 3 settings. MMS, WAP and Internet settings. Attempt them one at a time.

  Step1:

From the Main menu , select Messaging, then press Options and select Settings.

  Step2:

Select Multimedia message and press Options and select Open

  Step3:

Select Access point in use > Press Options > New Access point : use default settings.
Then type the following:

  • Connection name - Celcom MMS
  • Data bearer - GPRS
  • APN GPRS :
    • Postpaid - Type mms.celcom.net.my . Click OK .
    • Prepaid - Type celcom . Click OK .
  • Username - ( leave blank )
  • Prompt Password - ( leave blank )
  • Password - ( leave blank )
  • Authentication - Normal
  • Homepage - http://mms.celcom.net.my
  Step4:

Press Options > choose Advanced Settings and key in the following :

  • Phone IP address - Automatic
  • Primary name server - ( leave blank )
  • Second name server - ( leave blank )
  • Proxy server address - 10.128.1.242
  Step5:

To send MMS , go to Messaging > Select New message . Press Options and Select Create Message > Multimedia message .
Type message in text or insert image/sound clip if needed.
Send message to B number or e-mail .
